    Research Summary

My current research mainly focuses on the areas of using synthetic water-soluble polymers for anti-tumor drug delivery and conjugation and investigate the in vitro and in vivo efficacy of the polymer-prodrug.  In addition to drug delivery, my research interests also include using water-soluble polymers as imaging probes carriers for biomedical and molecular imaging application.

I have also worked on nanocrystal-hydrogel hybrid materials. The project includes several main aspects as follows: synthesis of the nanocrystals and stimuli-responsive hydrogel microspheres, preparation of nanocrystal-hydrogel hybrid materials, mineralization of CaCO3 within hydrogel spheres
